Villentretenmerth, in common speech Three Black Birds was one of the two known golden dragons in the whole Continent. He enjoyed living among people and thanks to his skills of polymorphism he could travel through lands incognito. His friends knew him as Borch Three Jackdaws as that was one of his most used forms. Always on the road, never in one place. He traveled through lands using several forms but from time to time he used his true form of golden dragon. During such travel he met a green dragon called Myrgtabrakke and took her as his mate but after some time he countinued his lonely journey.
My girls, Tea and Vea. That’s how I call them because you can bite off your tongue on their real names.
~Borch Three Jackdaws
Once upon a time Villentretenmerth met the famous witcher Geralt while being under the disguise of Borch. After witcher completed one of his contracts by slaying a basilisk, Borch along with his two Zerrikanian bodyguards stopped the people who hired Geralt and now wanted to steal his bags. He then invited witcher to nearby inn and learned that Geralt doesn’t hunt dragons as they don’t threaten humans. That pleased Borch who then discussed with him the possibility of existence of golden dragons. Both enjoyed long conversation and tasty meal and after some time they learned that there was a large dragon which was going to be killed soon in Barefield.
They decided to join the hunt but as soon as they arrived they noticed that the place was closed. While looking for a way in Geralt met his good friend Dandelion who then explained them the whole situation. They managed to get in and found out there were a hunting party full of experienced warriors such as Crinfrid Reavers, dwarfs, a knight Eyck of Denesie and two mages. This whole group was commanded by Prince Niedamir and guided by a peasant Sheepbagger, Borch knew that they would eventually slay the dragon who was his old companion Myrgtabrakke.
He then left the party which was discussing how to kill the beast and reappeared as the golden dragon Villentretenmerth. The group was shocked and couldn’t believe what they had seen but decided to continue the attack. But the golden dragon was too strong and agile, he challenged hunters to a fair fight and easily defeated the knight Eyck. Some of the memebers of the party escaped while those who left divided in two groups: one which wanted to kill the dragon and second who wanted to prevent it. Geralt, his friend Dandelion and one of the mages tried to defend dragons but there were easily overpowered by the others who tied them up.
A wizard friend of mine used to say that in nature every creature has a continuation and will survive in one way or another. The end of one is the beginning of the other, there are no limits to the possibilities, at least nature knows no such.

After that Reavers and dwarfs began the attack and despite the glorious charge they failed to defeat mighty Villentretenmerth. Unfortunatelly the local militia lead by Sheepbagger arrived and they proved to be a match for the dragon. They managed to incapacitate him but the other mage Yennefer freed herself with Geralt’s help. She used spells againts the mob while two Zerrikanian cut their way through it and freed Villentretenmerth. He came back to his form of Borch Three Jackdaws and ordered dwarfs to take care of wounded Reavers. At the end he thanked Geralt and Yennefer for the help and used his true form of golden dragon to fly off with his newborn which he was trying to protect whole time.
